What to do if you can’t give blood

There are many other ways to support us and help save lives across Wales. You can make a difference by spreading the word about Welsh Blood Service and getting as many people as possible to consider becoming a blood, platelet or bone marrow donor.

How you can help

We need to make sure that people sign up as blood donors and existing donors continue to give blood so that our blood-stock levels are healthy.

One way you can do this is by helping us get the message out far and wide across Wales about the importance of donating. Whether it’s by telling friends and family why they should give blood or talking to colleagues about us. You can help us by:

  • Display a poster at work or in your local area
  • Promote our donation clinics with family, friends and colleagues
  • Sharing resources about the lifesaving difference donating makes

We also have loads of resources for you to read and share on our supporters section to encourage others to give blood.
